ONLY SIGN UP IF YOU ARE ACTUALLY GOING TO COMMIT TO VOLUNTEERING. WE NEED TO HAVE THE SPACE AVAILABLE FOR THOSE WHO ARE ACTUALLY INTERESTED IN VOLUNTEERING.
YOU MUST BE 18 YEARS OLD TO VOLUNTEER!
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at our facility. Volunteers are a vital part of our organization and help keep Aark afloat. Volunteers are required to complete one shift each week.
Each shift runs for the duration of four hours and there are four shifts per day. They are:
7AM-11AM
11AM-3PM
3PM-7PM
7PM-11PM
Orientations are mandatory for new volunteers and interns. This year we are hosting several orientations. The orientation allows you to see how Aark Wildlife operates and gives insight as to what to expect as a volunteer. All orientation dates will require pre-registration. Applications are completed when you arrive for the orientation, along with short interviews.
- Bring your drivers license or state id
- Volunteer background check is required if you are selected for a shift. This can be obtained by visiting https://epatch.state.pa.us/Home.jsp
Being an Aark Wildlife Volunteer is a commitment, but it is a wonderful and rewarding experience.
